Hopped into a bus and blessed was my fate,

The conductor asked me, “Where is the change”?

Ended up late,

The manager told me, “This needs to change”.

Went to the counter after I ate,

The canteen-wala told me, “There is no change”.

Called home to share this spate,

My mom told me, “You will never change”.

Took the bus back home at eight,

The conductor again asked me, “Yellappa change?”.
